Creating meaning and connection through the
Arts & Experiences

Hi, I’m Alex!

Through the arts and experiences, I help organizations and individuals communicate valuable stories and foster meaningful connections.

Cross-Discliplinary Design

Every project is a design project. Whether it’s an audience journey or the staging for a play or event, every project needs to create meaning and achieve its goals – it needs to be designed.

By combining my artistic foundation in theatre, visual art, and music with administrative skills such as marketing, budgeting, and programming, I approach challenges with an eye for aesthetics and an innate understanding of the creative process.

Developed Concepts & Strategies

At the core of every successful project is a big idea – a great concept. Dreaming up and refining that initial concept is the essential first step to building out an actionable strategy for achieving valuable change.

I love to brainstorm, and I love to write a to-do list. Most of all, I love to make a plan – whether it’s a marketing plan, event plan, strategic plan, or ground plan.

Distinctive Blend of Creativity and Logistics

To be effective, there must be balance. A project can’t succeed without both creativity and logistics. I excel at both exploring the big picture and finessing the details.

Nowadays, in much of the creative industry there is an undeniable divide between “artists” and “managers.” However, both skillsets are necessary for success – and personally, I believe they should blend and build off each other. I am a designer; I am a coordinator. I am an administrator, and I am an artist.

I’ve worn a lot of hats - but the combination of all those roles uniquely positions me to discover creative solutions.
